Outreach Sequences

Purpose

Use these templates to launch safe, effective outreach. Start small, learn fast, then scale. Keep one clear offer per sequence.

Before You Send

1. Set up domain and deliverability

  • • Use a dedicated domain or subdomain
  • • Configure SPF, DKIM, DMARC, custom tracking domain
  • • Warm new mailboxes for 2 to 3 weeks. Start at 25 to 50 emails per day per inbox and increase slowly
  • • Plain text first. One link max. No images in early sends

2. Data hygiene

  • • Verify emails. Bounce rate under 5 percent
  • • Dedupe against your CRM
  • • Use correct names, titles, and company fields

3. Compliance

  • • Follow CAN-SPAM and TCPA
  • • Include a working unsubscribe
  • • Do not send SMS without explicit consent

4. Personalization tokens

{FirstName}, {Company}, {Role}, {City}, {Problem}, {Outcome}, {Proof}, {CTA}

Add one sentence of true personalization when volume allows.

How to Use These

Pick the sequence that matches your goal, paste the cadence, then swap the tokens. Test one variable at a time. Pause losers fast.

Cadence Patterns

  • Light: 4 touches over 14 days
  • Standard: 6 touches over 18 to 24 days
  • Aggressive: 8 touches over 28 days (use only after strong early signals)

Time Windows

Send 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time for the recipient. Avoid Mondays at 9 a.m. and Fridays after noon.

Success and Stop Rules

  • • Positive reply rate under 2 percent after 1,000 sends: stop and rewrite
  • • If spam complaints rise or deliverability drops, halt sending from that inbox for 48 hours

Here it is:

  1. Fix {specific issue} so {expected outcome}.
  2. Update {page or listing} to capture {keyword or intent}.
  3. Track {event} so you can see which channel drives calls.

If this looks useful, we can set it up this month.

  • Day 16: Email 3 final

Email 1 (to retail or distribution partner)

Subject: Small U.S. pilot for {Brand}

Hi {FirstName},

We support Korean brands entering the U.S. with a controlled launch. We prove demand first, then scale.

Proposal: a small pilot in {Region} with one or two pallets per store, plus DTC to capture demand. We handle SEO, page setup, and readouts like units per store per week and return rate.

If this is relevant, I can send a one page plan and a sample sell-in sheet.

Email 2 (DTC partner or influencer collab)

Subject: {Brand} U.S. launch test

We are building U.S. pages and creator trials for {Brand}. We pay per post and share sales from tracked links. If you're open to a quick test, I can send the brief and dates.

Localization note for senders

Use a U.S. domain, U.S. phone number, and a short U.S. address line in the footer. Keep copy in plain U.S. English. Avoid idioms.
